Take 2 is a Toronto-based design management company with a simple but meaningful goal: to help you reimagine, design, and create a home you’ll love for years to come. We look beyond what a room is—and focus on what it could be. Our process is full-service and hands-on, and covers everything including floor plans, elevations, RCPs, custom millwork design, and detailed renderings to help you visualize the end result. We also manage procurement, design management, and styling to ensure every detail is thoughtfully executed. And because we speak construction, we can confidently advocate for you on-site and clearly communicate your design goals with the trades. True to our name, we also look for ways to give upcycled, recycled, refurbished, or vintage pieces their Take 2—adding soul and story to each space we design.

Before starting Take 2 Design, Christine spent 20 years in the entertainment industry, producing high-impact commercials that captivated audiences and communicated powerful narratives. This experience not only shaped a deep understanding of visual composition and branding, but also cultivated a meticulous approach to managing projects from concept to completion - a skill she uses daily on behalf of her clients. Today, Christine channels this expertise into designing spaces that feel just as dynamic, impactful, and tailored as the brands she once brought to life onscreen. As the owner of Take 2, Christine takes pride in leading her team to blend innovative design principles with functional solutions in order to create environments that bring together both form and purpose.Christine’s designs are a reflection of her belief that every space has a story to tell—one that’s meant to be lived in, experienced, and enjoyed. In other words, every space deserves its own Take 2.

Janet Mann

Janet Mann

With a unique blend of creativity, teaching experience, and a passion for fine arts - Janet Mann brings a fresh, thoughtful perspective to all of the projects she works on. Before transitioning to the world of design, Janet had her own "Take 2". Janet spent several years as an educator, where the ability to foster creativity, communication, and problem-solving in students became second nature.

Blending the analytical mindset of an educator with the expressive, imaginative spirit of the trained fine artist that she is, Janet brings a unique, holistic approach to every project, ensuring that each space tells its own story during its Take 2.

Leah Valencia

Design Manager

Leah Valencia

Leah is a dedicated Design Manager at Take 2 with six years of experience transforming spaces into functional and aesthetically pleasing environments. She earned her Interior Design Certificate from Parsons School of Design, where she concentrated on Sustainable Design and Interior Lighting Design. Known for her organizational skills, Leah ensures that every detail is carefully considered. Before pursuing interior design and having her own Take 2 moment, Leah ran a real estate company in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. This experience developed her understanding of emerging and growing markets and gave her insight into international design trends, business operations, and client relationships. Her entrepreneurial experience has made her highly adaptable, organized, and skilled in managing projects of all scales—and in helping them realize their own Take 2.
